Department of Agriculture

1. Brief Introduction about the department
The Department of Agriculture was originally known as the Department of Agricultural and Biological Sciences (DABS) under the Faculty of Science and Technology (FOST). However, in September 2021, the name FOST was laid to rest and the DABS gave birth to 3 departments in a new Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.

The Department is a home to the Bachelor of Agricultural Sciences and Entrepreneurship (BASE) which is a 4 year under graduate program. The program is hosted at both the main campus in Mukono and at the Bishop Barham University Campus Kabale. We also have other programs in the pipeline and short courses about to take off.
