In our discourse, we challenge ourselves to generate knowledge in novel ways to address the agricultural challenges in our communities. This is because we are cognizant of  the global knowledge demand for sustainably producing nutritionally dense food, its value addition and safety through  appropriate food storage and distribution, whilst reducing food waste.
