Dean’s remarks

Welcome to the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at Uganda Christian University! The Faculty is a community of professionals and scholars who are committed to excellence and intellectual thoroughness. In our discourse, we challenge ourselves to generate knowledge in novel ways to address the agricultural challenges in our communities. This is because we are cognizant of  the global knowledge demand for sustainably producing nutritionally dense food, its value addition and safety through  appropriate food storage and distribution, whilst reducing food waste. As such, the Faculty prides in undertaking revolutionary research as we train students to become successful agri-preneurs and problem solvers  in their communities and society. We hope that the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences will be your faculty of choice as you look for a home for your professional and personal development.
