This Master of Science in Agribusiness Management & Entrepreneurship (MABE) is a blended online two-year taught programme with a research component. It is designed to provide the students with advanced skills in utilizing agricultural resources and research projects. 

The primary mission of this Programme is to provide the learners with the critical thinking, knowledge and Technical skills needed to drive the agricultural sector and national development. The potential for employment for graduates from this Programme are; the agricultural based industries, service organisations and project world.  

The minimum entry requirements for admission to a Postgraduate Masters Programmes is a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent recognized as such by NCHE;

The applicants should be holders of at least a Second lower Class Honours degree, credit or equivalent qualification in Agriculture, Fisheries, Rural Innovations, Food Science, and Economics or Agribusiness or in any other subject area judged relevant from a University recognized by NCHE.

This is a blended ODEL two-year Programme. Students are required to have very good ICT gadgets, data and locations with stable Internet.

Each student will be allocated a supervisor from the faculty to work with. Permission to proceed to the field for the data collection phase will be granted after a successful presentation and defense of an acceptable research proposal in an approved researchable area.  Students are required to write a dissertation in strict compliance with guidelines laid down by the Postgraduate Directorate after which they are required to mount a successful presentation and defence of their dissertation before a panel of experts and thereafter make corrections as suggested by examiners.
