Entry requirements

Shape healthier communities with Uganda Christian University’s Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. This programme equips students with the knowledge and practical skills to promote optimal nutrition, wellness, and dietary interventions across hospitals, communities, schools, and development programs. Combining nutrition science, dietetics, food systems, public health, and entrepreneurial skills, graduates are prepared to make a real impact in improving health outcomes and preventing nutrition-related diseases. The programme integrates hands-on practice, research, and ethical, service-oriented learning grounded in Christian values, preparing students for leadership roles in healthcare, public health, research, and nutrition consultancy.

Entry Requirements:

Applicants must meet Uganda Christian University admission requirements and the Uganda National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) standards. Eligible candidates include:

  • UACE holders with at least two principal passes, including Biology, Chemistry, or Food Science, and UCE passes in English and Mathematics.

  • Diploma holders in Nutrition, Dietetics, Food Science, Health Sciences, or related fields from a recognized institution.
