Transform agriculture into a profitable and sustainable enterprise.

Uganda Christian University’s Master of Science in Agribusiness & Entrepreneurship (MABE) is a two-year, flexible blended programme (70% online, 30% physical) designed for professionals, entrepreneurs, and change-makers seeking leadership across the agricultural value chain. Students may specialize in Agribusiness Management or Agri-Enterprise Development, tailoring the programme to their career and business aspirations.

MABE equips learners with practical skills in agribusiness planning, strategic marketing, finance and risk management, value chain analysis, and policy evaluation, enabling graduates to manage agribusiness firms or successfully start and scale competitive agri-enterprises. Grounded in research, innovation, and real-world problem-solving, the programme strengthens critical thinking, leadership, and effective stakeholder engagement. Rooted in UCU’s Christian values, it integrates ethical leadership and service, preparing graduates to drive inclusive growth and sustainable development in agriculture.

Applicants must hold at least a Second-Class Lower Honours degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business Administration, Food Science, Environmental Studies, or a related discipline from a recognized institution. Applicants from other backgrounds with relevant professional experience may be considered and may be required to undertake bridging courses as determined by the faculty.
